Kale Mixed with Dried Tofu: A Comparison to Plantain Herbs
Materials
Kale | 150g |
Dried Tofu | 3 small pieces / about 120g |
Light Soy Sauce | 2 tablespoons |
Sesame Oil | 1 tablespoon |
Sugar | A pinch |
How To Make
-
Kale contains ten times more Vitamin C than spinach, more calcium than milk, and higher iron content than beef. Its health benefits span from head to toe, both externally and internally.
-
1. Prepare the ingredients.
-
2. Bring a pot of water to a boil, then blanch the kale for a few seconds.
-
Upon contact with boiling water, the kale quickly turns a tempting green.
-
3. Remove the kale and let it cool.
-
4. Cook the dried tofu in boiling water for about 5 minutes before removing.
-
5. Squeeze out excess moisture from the kale (avoid squeezing too hard, as this can make it dry), then chop it.
-
6. Cut the cooked dried tofu into small cubes.
-
7. Place the chopped kale and dried tofu cubes into a large bowl.
-
8. Prepare a sauce with light soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of sugar, then mix it with the kale and dried tofu.
-
9. Mix thoroughly, then press the mixture into a container and refrigerate for at least half an hour.
