Oil-Free Pan-Fried Matsusaka Pork (Pork Neck) | Simple and Delicious Recipe
Materials
light soy sauce | 1 tablespoon |
rice wine | 0.5 tablespoon |
How To Make
-
Cut pork neck into 3 pieces along the grain, placing the fatty side down in the pan. Start with low heat to render the fat and change the color. ⚠️ (Keep heat on low to medium throughout.)
-
Flip the pieces and allow the fatty side to cook until color changes. Add a spoonful of light soy sauce and use a spoon to evenly press and mix.
-
Pour in rice wine and cover the pan. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
-
Use a spoon to press the meat down while moving it in the pan, allowing it to soak up the flavorful sauce.
-
Slice thinly and serve.
-
Exotic dipping sauce for the discerning: mix fish sauce, light soy sauce, cooled boiled water, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped green and red chili, and sugar to taste. Enjoy a fragrant, tender dish. Have a great summer appetite!
