Carrot Glutinous Rice Balls 🥕
Previously, I only steamed pure glutinous rice balls, but this time I added some carrots to try it out 😋 (Make sure to use glutinous rice, other types won't work).
Materials
Carrot | 1 piece |
Glutinous Rice | I used a handful, the rest can be steamed and eaten. |
Egg | 1 piece |
Soy Sauce | 4 tablespoons (omit if you don't like it) |
Salt | 2 tablespoons from the salt container |
Meat | 500 grams |
Green Onion | 2 stalks (omit if you don't like it) |
How To Make
-
Chop the carrots finely. The meat can be ground at the butcher's or you can chop it finely yourself.
-
Soak the glutinous rice for a while.
-
Mix together the egg, soy sauce, carrots, green onions, and salt until well combined.
-
Form the mixture into balls and coat them in the glutinous rice. You can then start steaming them until they are cooked through.

Here is the final product, ready to be packed in a company bento 🍱.
