Materials

Rice | 2 cups |
Edamame | as needed |
Eggs | 2 |
Carrots | half a root |
Cherry Tomato | 1 |
How To Make
-
Braised Bamboo Shoot Rice. Both spring bamboo shoots and winter bamboo shoots can be used, and both electric rice cookers and clay pots are suitable. The recipe for Braised Bamboo Shoot Rice will be posted separately later.
-
Stewed beef patties and boiled carrots.
-
Blanched komatsuna and kamaboko fish cakes. (Note: In Japanese bento, vegetables are mostly served cold, so I prepare them as cold dishes.)
-
Simmered egg custard (rolled omelette) and cherry tomatoes.
-
Pack the bento box. Start with rice, then add beef patties, rolled omelette, greens, carrots, and finally garnish with a cherry tomato. Done.
