Blanched Lettuce
A light and delicious dish inspired by a family meal with my sister-in-law, I ordered a plate of blanched lettuce that was so delicious at the restaurant that I rushed home to make some myself.
Materials
Lettuce | 200g |
Carrot | 1 small piece |
Millet vinegar | 20g |
Sichuan peppercorn | 15g |
Dried chili | 1 piece |
Salt | 2g |
Cooking oil | 20g |
White sugar | 5g |
How To Make

Shred the lettuce and carrot, then blanch them in water.

Cool the blanched vegetables in cold water, then drain and place in a bowl.

Add millet vinegar, salt, and white sugar, then mix well.

Heat oil in a stir-fry pan and add dried chili and Sichuan peppercorns to release their aroma.

Drizzle the flavored oil over the mixed lettuce.

Toss everything together.
