Orleans Bamboo Tube Rice
In college, I often enjoyed bamboo tube rice with friends. I've always found it so delicious, and it's been a long time since I've had it. Today, I want to reminisce about those moments.
Materials
Chicken Breast | 2 pieces |
Onion | 1/2 |
Cabbage | 1/2 |
Green Pepper | 2 pieces |
How To Make
-
Marinate the chicken breast overnight with: Orleans marinade, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and oyster sauce.
-
Dice the onion.
-
Cut the cabbage into strips.
-
Chop the green pepper into pieces.
-
Prepare scallions, ginger, and garlic.
-
Heat the oil in the pan and stir-fry the marinated chicken until cooked.
-
Add the scallions, ginger, garlic, dried chili segments, and star anise to stir-fry until fragrant.
-
Add the diced onion and stir-fry until soft.
-
Add the cabbage and stir-fry until soft.
-
Add the chicken breast back into the mix and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
-
Add the green pepper (since the marinated meat already has seasoning, taste and adjust with salt if it’s too sweet).
-
Serve the dish, a soul companion to rice! 🌞
