Cold Tossed Houttuynia (Fish Mint)
A signature cold salad from Guizhou! 🙂
Materials
Light Soy Sauce | 2 tablespoons |
Vinegar | 1/2 tablespoon |
Sugar | 1/3 tablespoon |
Salt | a pinch |
How To Make

Clean the Houttuynia cordata by removing the roots, and cut it into small sections.

Remove the yellow leaves from the wild onions, trim the roots, wash them, and cut them into small sections.

Add a pinch of salt to the Houttuynia cordata, mix well, and then add the wild onion sections.

Gradually add sugar, light soy sauce, vinegar, chili powder, fermented black beans, and prickly ash oil, then mix thoroughly.

Serve on a plate and enjoy!
