Stir-Fried Fern Shoots
Every year during the Qingming Festival in my childhood, we would gather a lot of fern shoots. My mother would always add a spoonful of homemade chopped chili when stir-frying them, which became the soul of this dish.
Materials
Fern Shoots | A handful |
Chopped Chili | 50 grams |
Salt | To taste |
Garlic | 4 cloves |
Soy Sauce | 1 tablespoon |
Lard | 15 grams |
How To Make

Wash the fern shoots and break them into small pieces. Prepare several cloves of garlic and a small bowl of chopped chili.

Add the garlic cloves to the main pot and chop them for 3 seconds at speed 5.

Use a spatula to scrape the garlic stuck to the sides of the pot down to the bottom. Add 50 grams of chopped chili and 15 grams of lard, then sauté for 3 minutes on reverse speed.

Add the prepared fern shoots, appropriate amount of salt, and one tablespoon of soy sauce. Set for 4 minutes on reverse speed.
